Poem: The Epitome of Human Contact

A forsaken longing to reach the epitome of human contact
Once more, an attempted repairing of a lost time
That cannot become the impossible,
What it once was,
What we once were.

Is it a misconstruct in human nature to reach for the unreachable?
To teach the unteachable an unlearned lesson that
Blessings come only when we make them,
When we take them,
When we shape them to what we need,
To what does not make us bleed
Tears of hope
For what once was between us,
The epitome of human contact
